Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport-city tour
Upon your arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will be met and greeted by our safari tour guide/driver; he will get you briefed about the safari and later drive you to your booked accommodation in Kampala. However, if you arrive in time, you will have a brief Kampala city tour and visit some of the interesting places around. Places to visit include Uganda museum, the Bahai temple, Kasubi Toms, Nakasero market and if time allows, enjoy a cultural presentation and later have dinner and overnight at (Luxury) Serena Hotel, (mid-range) Cassia Lodge, Landmark view Hotel (Budget).

Day 2: Depart To Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
After breakfast at the lodge; our guide/driver will pick and drive you to the Zziwa rhino sanctuary the only one protected home to the black and white rhinos, the sanctuary is located in Nakasongola district. The drive takes about 3 hours from Kampala with a scenic drive all through. It houses about 15 white rhinos however; their number is expected to increase with time. After tracking, have lunch and later drive to Murchison falls national park, arrive in the evening at the lodge for relaxation dinner and an overnight at. Day 3: Game drive and Fantastic boat cruise
After a cup of coffee / tea embark on a morning game drive in the northern part of the park to catch up with very many species of wildlife turning to their hide-outs. Games expected to see include the African lions, Leopards, Elephants, Buffaloes, Antelopes and Giraffes, water buck, worth hogs among others, After the activity, return back to the lodge for full breakfast, relaxation and lunch. After lunch, enjoy a 3 hours launch cruise along the River Nile to the bottom of Murchison falls. Here, you will see various species of birds, schools of hippos and crocodiles as well as elephant relaxing on the shores. Day 4: Top of the falls And Transfer to Hoima
After breakfast at the lodge, you will drive to the top of the falls where the, Nile squeezes through an 8m wide gorge and plunges with a thunderous roar into the Devil’s Cauldron’’, creating trademark rainbow. The top of the falls offers a great chance to view various species of birds and photography is superb. With lunch en route proceed to Hoima via Butiaba where you will view the escarpment and lake Albert, as you will be coming out of the Great Rift Valley arrive in the evening for relaxation at the lodge, dinner and overnight at hotel Kontiki (budget)/Hoima cultural lodge (mid-range)

Day 5: Take a Visit to the King’s Palace and later Transfer to Fort Portal
Enjoy an early breakfast at the lodge, and then after take a visit to the king’s palace for an opportunity to learn more about the Bunyoro kingdom one of the influential kingdom in Uganda, learn more about the major traditional cultural practices of the local people. After this wonderful moment, embark on a 3 hours transfer to Fort Portal in the western part of Uganda with fantastic views to number of plantation including the tea especially at Kyenjojo district. Day 6: Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi wetland sanctuary
Wake up early for breakfast and then after assemble for a short briefing from the park wardens about the dos and don’ts while with chimps. After follow the ranger guide to the forest to begin the search of our closest relatives who shares almost 98% of human DNA make-up where you will stay until mid-day. Once they are met you strictly allowed only one hour with them studding their behaviors as well as taking photography. Chimps are fabulous fun to watch when playing in fruitful trees or tree blanches. In the process of chimp tracking, you will encounter many other primates including the black and white colobus monkey, baboons, grey checked mangabay, and civet monkey among many others plus many species of birds. After this wonderful activity, return back to the lodge for relaxation and lunch and in the afternoon, enjoy a nature walk in Bigodi wetland sanctuary, here you will enjoy more species of birds and primates. Day 7: Transfer to Semuliki Valley National Park
This morning after breakfast, embark on a transfer to Semuliki valley national park located at the extreme in the western part of Uganda, in Bundibugyo District. The Park is the only lowland tropical Forest in East Africa classified as moist and semi- deciduous. The park has incredible attraction including over 336 tree species and over 9 species of primates including chimpanzees, baboons, and olive baboons among many others. The drive from Fort Portal to Semuliki takes about 40kms; arrive at the park in time at the park, go for game drives. And then in the evening visit the hot springs. Day 8: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early breakfast at the lodge, embark on a 3-4 hours transfer to Queen Elizabeth national a home to wide biodiversity of animal species. Arrive at the park in time for lunch and relaxation, in the evening enjoy wildlife viewing, games expected to see include elephants, warthogs, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, lions, leopard plus very many species of antelopes. Day 9: Game Drive and Boat Trips
Wake up for a cup of tea or coffee and then after go for a game drive in the Kasenyi area of the park for an opportunity to see games like lions, leopard, bush bucks, antelopes, elephants, worth hogs among others. After go back to the lodge for a late breakfast, and relaxation. After a hearty lunch, you will go for a launch cruise by 4pm at the Kazinga channel which connects lakes George and Edward. Day 11: Gorilla tracking
Wake up early for a morning breakfast to give you energy for gorilla tracking, after with packed lunch and battled water, you will be driven to the park headquarters to receive short briefings about the dos and don’ts while with gorillas and also get you assigned to the gorilla family to trek and also the ranger guide. After, enter the forest to begin the search of mountain gorillas, tracking time is unpredictable, however, it can last from 2-8 hours since meeting them depends on where they last spent their night from and once they are met, you strictly allowed only one hour with them while studding as well as taking photography. Day 13: Transfer To Kinigi Rwanda and A Visit to the Iby‘Iwacu Cultural Village
This morning after a hearty breakfast, embark on the transfer to Rwanda via the Uganda -Rwanda- Katuna Border and later connect to Ruhengeri in Musanze district with a scenic view all through. Have lunch en route and later connect to your Lodge for relaxation, and then in the evening, you will go for a cultural walk to Iby’wachu for cultural visit and learn more about the Banyarwanda culture/ visit the twin lakes of Ruhondo and Bulera. Day 14: Gorilla trekking in volcanoes national park
After breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters to receive short briefing from the park wardens about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas as well as get you assigned to the ranger guide and the gorilla family. After, head to the forest to begin the search of mountain gorillas. it’s a breathtaking moment to be among the 8 members allowed per group to trek the gorillas, sit among them listen to them grumble and marvel at the cheer full male silver buck, it’s a wonderful moment in life very difficult to forget. Day 15: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park
After breakfast at the lodge, embark on the transfer to Nyungwe forest national park which is located in the southwestern part of Rwanda, the drive takes about 5 to 6 hours. The park is a home to the closest relatives of human sharing almost 98% of human genes. Nyungwe forest is among the oldest forests in east and central Africa with a variety of tree species as well as birds. Have lunch en-route in Butale town and visit the genocide memorial site, national museum among other interesting places around. Continue with the drive to the park for relaxation dinner and an overnight at at Gisakura guest house (budget)/Nyungwe top view lodge (mid-range)/ Nyungwe forest lodge (luxury)

Day 16: Chimpanzee Trekking Nyungwe forest
In the morning after breakfast, you will assemble at the park headquarters in Gisakura for short briefings about the dos and don’ts about the chimps. After escort the ranger guide to the forest to begin the search of our closest relatives the chimps sharing almost 98% of human genes. the time taken while searching the chimps is unpredictable although it can go from 1-6 hours in the jungle searching them, meeting them depends on where they last spent their night from and once they are met you are only allowed one hour with them. You will meet other primate species like the black and white colobus monkey, baboons, civet monkey, grey checked manga bay among others plus very many species of birds. Retire back to the lodge for relaxation and lunch in the evening you can opt for nature walk or visit the tea estate around the park. Day 17: Transfer Back To Kigali and Departure
Wake up leisurely for a hearty breakfast and then after drive back to Kigali, if time allows do a city tour and visit some of the interesting places including the Kigali genocide memorial site, national museum, hand craft shops among many others. Later you will head to the airport and depart.
