5 Days Rwanda Gorilla & Chimp Safari – This tour involves gorilla & chimpanzee trekking in Rwanda’s Volcanoes & Nyungwe National parks respectively. The trip starts and ends in Kigali the capital city of Rwanda.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Nyungwe National Park
After your breakfast in the morning, you will be transferred to Nyungwe National Park by our well trained guide. Along the way, you will have an en route visit to the national museum in Butare,the Nyanza King’s palce and the Murambi genocide memorial site. Dinner and overnight stay at Nyungwe Forest Lodge (Luxury)

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking in Nyungwe
After breakfast,you will move to the park headquarters for a simple briefing about what you are expected to do while in the park.After,you will then proceed to the starting point of the chimpanzee tracking in Nyungwe. While on the trek, expect to have numerous encounters with chimpanzees, baboons, black and white colobus monkeys and vervet monkeys. Later, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 3: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
On this day, you will be transferred from Nyungwe to Volcanoes National Park. This is quite along journey but very interesting. Dinner and overnight at Muhabura hotel(Budget)/La Palme hotel(Deluxe)/Mountain gorilla view lodge(Luxury)

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking
After breakfast,you will be briefed by well tained guides about gorilla trekking before proceeding to the park for a life-changing experience. You will be allowed an hour with the mountain gorillas in the thick forests of Volcanoes National park. The trekking experience normally takes 1-8 hours. Later, you will get back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Transfer back to Kigali

After your breakfast, you will be transferred back to Kigali. Depending on your flight schedule,you may opt for a city tour before departing back to your home country
