Day 1: Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable

Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with en route at the Equator
After breakfast, transfer from Kampala and then drive to Bwindi Impenetrable national Park with a stopover at the Equator. While here, you will take some photographs. Proceed to Igongo Cultural center for lunch. You will leave Kampala and drive to south western Uganda. It is a distance of about 527 kilometers and about 10 hours’ drive. From Kampala, you will be driven and connect to Masaka road on smooth tarmac then continue with the drive to Kigezi highlands until you reach Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Day 2: Gorilla trekking & Nature/cultural walk
After an early morning breakfast, you will go for briefing about gorilla trekking before proceeding to the forest in a company of armed guides until you meet the gorillas. The encounter tends to take 2-8 hours and this usually depends on their movement. After you have approached the gorillas, you will be able to spend about 1 hour. Usually, you are not limited to ask any question about these gorillas and their habitats. Depending on the time spent while trekking, you can have a cultural or nature walk around Bwindi. After staying for one hour with the gorillas, you will connect the lodge for relaxation.

Day 3: Transfer from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to Kampala
Have breakfast then transfer to Kampala, driving through the magical highlands of Kigezi. It is usually covered with mist in the morning. You will be driven through Ntungamo with the extensive banana plantation and the cattle forms. There will be a lunch stop over at the Igongo Cultural Center, the after drive direct to Kampala.
