Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
You will be picked up from your hotel/lodge by our safari guide/driver early in the morning after breakfast; then driven to Bwindi impenetrable national park in the southwestern part of Uganda a home to the rare mountain gorillas. Stopover will be made at the equator crossing for an informative talks and snacks, and also at Mbarara town for lunch. After an hour lunch break we will continue the scenic drive to Kabale town known for its rolling hills sometimes referred to as the ‘’Switzerland of Africa’’ will be a big view as we cross the vast country side. Later transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park. Arrive in the evening for relaxation, dinner and an overnight at Gorilla forest Camp/ Chameleon Hill Lodge (Luxury), Mahogany Lodge/ Silverback Lodge / Gorilla Mist Camp (Midrange), Ruhija Gorilla Friends Camp or Buhoma Community Campground (Budget)

Day 2: Mountain gorilla tracking and Community walk in Bwindi N.P
After an early morning breakfast, assemble at the park headquarters for a short briefing from the park wardens about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas and also get you a gorilla family and a ranger guide. After, follow the ranger guide for a memorable adventure to meet the gorillas in the forest. The time taken to meet these giants is unpredictable, however, the search can go from 1-6 hours since meeting them depends on their movement, and once they are met, you strictly allowed a maximum of one hour with them while studding their behaviors as well as taking as many photos as you can. After this wonderful activity, retreat back to the lodge for relaxation and lunch. If you still have energy this evening, go for a community walk and meet the Batwa pygmy who will entertain you through their cultural dances and you will fed with stories of their unique culture. Dinner and an overnight at Gorilla forest Camp/ Chameleon Hill Lodge (Luxury), Mahogany Lodge/ Silverback Lodge / Gorilla Mist Camp (Midrange), Ruhija Gorilla Friends Camp or Buhoma Community Campground (Budget)

Day 3: 2nd Gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable forest
After breakfast, follow the same procedures like on the first day of gorilla tracking, follow the ranger guide to the forest to begin the activity but this time you will track in a different gorilla family to get a better experience. You will meet the gorillas doing their daily activities like feeding, playing, mother feeding their young ones, making nest among more. You are only allowed a maximum of one hour with them once they are met. After, on your return from the tracking, drive to Lake Bunyonyi the second deepest lake in Africa and world’s fresh water lake, free of Bilharzia. Arrive in the evening for dinner and and overnight Acadia cottages or Bunyonyi overland camp

Day 4: Transfer back to Kampala
After an early morning breakfast at the lodge, enjoy a boat ride along the lake Bunyonyi and explore around the many islands that reside on the lake for an opportunity to have a glance on a scenic view of the well terraced hills around the lake, view also several species of birds that live on the lake. After this wonderful activity, embark on a long drive back to Kampala with lunch en-route, and later transferred to the airport for your departure flight if scheduled on this day. End of safari
