Brief Itinerary
Day 1: morning city tour and transfer to volcanoes national park

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Kigali city tour and transfer to Ruhengeri
After breakfast at the lodge, you will be picked up by our safari guide/driver who will take you for a Kigali city tour and visit some of the interesting places around the city. Places to visit include the genocide memorial site, national museum, the first house, hand craft shops among many others. Have lunch in Kigali and then after, you will be driven to volcanoes national park in Ruhengeri Musanze district passing through beautiful views and hills. Arrive in the evening for relaxation, dinner and an overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge (Luxury)/La Palme Hotel (Deluxe)/Muhabura Hotel (Budget).

Day 2: Gorilla tracking adventure and afternoon transfer to Uganda
After breakfast, head to the park headquarters to receive short briefing from the park wardens about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas as well as get you assigned to the ranger guide and the gorilla family. After, head to the forest to begin the search of mountain gorillas. It’s a breathtaking moment to be among the 8 members allowed per group to trek the gorillas. Once they are met you are only allowed one hour with them and in the after return back to the lodge by 2:00pm. Have refreshment and lunch at the lodge and later set off for Uganda, crossing via Chanika boarder to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation, Dinner and overnight at Birdnest/ Bunyonyi Resort.

Day 3: Transfer to queen Elizabeth National park in Uganda
A morning breakfast is followed with a transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park by 7:30am passing via the Ruhija side of Bwindi national park, arriving at the ishasha sector around 11:00am for an opportunity to view various species of animals including the tree climbing lions, elephants and buffaloes among others. From here you will continue with a drive to QENP at Mweya safari lodge or its equivalent for lunch. After a hearty lunch, you will go for a launch cruise by 4pm at the Kazinga channel which connects lakes George and Edward. The kazinga channel offers a chance to spot various species of wildlife including hippos and crocodiles just meters from the boat, while elephants, buffaloes can be seen along the shoreline as well as very many species of birds. After, embark to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at (Luxury) Mweya safari Lodge /Katara Lodge/ (Mid-range) Kyambura Game Lodge (budget) Enganzi Lodge/bush Lodge

Day 4: Morning game drives and transfer to Kibale national park
Wake up early for breakfast and then after go for a game drive, games expected to see include lions, elephant, buffaloes, leopard, water hogs, bush buck, antelopes, warthogs among many others as well as many species of birds. After the activity, embark on a slow drive back to the lodge for relaxation and lunch. After lunch, embark on the transfer to Kibale forest national park, inhabited with over 13 species of primates coupled with chimpanzee the closet relative of man. Arrive at the park in the evening for relaxation diner and overnight at (Luxury) Ndali Lodge Mountains of the moon hotel (Deluxe)/Chimps nest lodge (Budget).

Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking and afternoon nature walk in Bigodi wetland sanctuary
Wake up early for breakfast and then after assemble for a short briefing from the park wardens about the dos and don’ts while with chimps. After follow the ranger guide to the forest to begin the search of our closest relatives who shares almost 98% of human DNA make-up where you will stay until mid-day. Once they are met you strictly allowed only one hour with them studding their behaviors as well as taking photography. Chimps are fabulous fun to watch when playing in fruitful trees or tree blanches. In the process of chimp tracking, you will encounter many other primates including the black and white colobus monkey, baboons, grey checked mangabay, and civet monkey among many others plus many species of birds. After this wonderful activity, return back to the lodge for relaxation and lunch and in the afternoon, enjoy a nature walk in Bigodi wetland sanctuary, here you will enjoy more species of birds and primates. After return back to the lodge or if you still have time and energy drive to Fort portal and visit the “Amabeere ganyina Mwiru” and the king’s palace. Diner and overnight at (Luxury) Ndali Lodge Mountains of the moon hotel (Deluxe)/Chimps nest lodge (Budget).

Day 6: Transfer to Kampala
Wake up early for a hearty breakfast and then after, embark on a transfer to Kampala, however you will have en-route visit to Nakayima tree in Mubende, it’s a historical tree live for centuries. Stop over for photography and informative talks after drive to Kampala for relaxation dinner and an overnight at (Luxury) Serena Hotel, (mid-range) Cassia Lodge, Landmark view Hotel (Budget).

Day 7: City Tour and Departure
Depending on your departure flight, you will first do a city tour around Kampala and visit some of the interesting places around. Places to visit include the Kasubi Tombs a burial place for over four kings of Buganda, the National museum, Bahai temple, Gadafhi Mosque Namugongo Shrine, where the Uganda martyrs were burnt live for refusing to denounce their Christian faith, take visit also to the local market. Enjoy lunch in the city and then later transfer to the airport to meet your departure flight back home if scheduled on this day.
