Day 1: Kampala to Bwindi impenetrable National park.
Day 2: Gorilla tracking in Bwindi N.P and cultural walk.
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park.
Day 4: Morning game viewing and transfer to Kibale national park.
Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi Nature walk
Day 6: Transfer back to Kampala.
Day 7: Kampala City Tour and the Departure.
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
You will be picked up from your hotel/lodge by our safari guide/driver early in the morning after breakfast; then drive you to Bwindi impenetrable national park in the southwestern part of Uganda a home to the rare mountain gorillas. Stopover will be made at the equator crossing for an informative talks and snacks, and also at Mbarara town for lunch. After an hour lunch break we will continue the scenic drive to Kabale town known for its rolling hills sometimes referred to as the ‘’Switzerland of Africa’’ will be a big view as we cross the vast country side. Later transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park. Arrive in the evening for relaxation, dinner and an overnight at Gorilla forest Camp/ Chameleon Hill Lodge (Luxury), Mahogany Lodge/ Silverback Lodge / Gorilla Mist Camp (Midrange), Ruhija Gorilla Friends Camp or Buhoma Community Campground (Budget)
Day 2: Mountain gorilla tracking and Community walk in Bwindi N.P
After an early morning breakfast, assemble at the park headquarters for a short briefing from the park wardens about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas and also get you a gorilla family to trek and a ranger guide. After, follow the ranger guide for a memorable adventure to meet the gorillas in the forest. The time taken to meet these giants is unpredictable, however, the search can go from 1-8 hours since meeting them depends on their movement, and once they are met, you strictly allowed a maximum of one hour with them while studding their behaviors as well as taking as many photos as you can. After this wonderful activity retreat back to the lodge for relaxation and lunch, and if you still have energy this evening, go for a community walk and meet the Batwa pygmy who will entertain you through their cultural dances and given stories of their unique culture. Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
Have breakfast, and then after we will embark on a transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park a home to a wide biodiversity of wildlife species. We will pass via the famous part of the park Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park known for its tree climbing lions do a game drive to see lions and many other animals like antelopes, elephants, buffaloes and many species of birds. from here drive to the park in time for lunch and then after you will go for an afternoon launch cruise along the Kazinga channel which connects lakes George and Edward for an opportunity to view more species of wildlife like schools of hippos and crocodiles a few meters from the boat, buffalos, elephants will be seen as they bask along the channel banks plus several species of birds that live and feed on the lake such as the king fisher, herons, blue oraco, eagles and many more. Day 4: Morning game drive and transfer to kibale forest national park
Early game drives in the Kasenyi track to catch up with various species of games that reside at the park. Games expect to see include leopard, hyena, lion, Elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, antelope species like the Uganda kobs, water buck, giant forest hogs, plus also various species of birds. After this lovely moment, return to the lodge for a late breakfast, and relax at the pool side as you wait for your lunch. After lunch, embark on a transfer to Kibale forest national park, home to over 13 primate species coupled with chimpanzee the closest relative to man. Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi Nature walk
Early morning breakfast at the lodge and then after, assemble at the park headquarters for a short briefing from the park wardens about chimp tracking. After, follow the ranger guide to the forest to begin the search of our closet relative the chimps who shares almost 98% of human genes. the trek will take about 1-6 hours in the jungle searching them and once they are met you strictly allowed only one with them while studding their behaviors as well as taking as many photos as possible (flash cameras are not allowed). You will encounter other primates such as colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, baboons as well as a variety of bird species and flora. Retire back to the lodge for lunch, after; you will go for a nature walk in Bigodi wetland sanctuary, where you will see a variety of birds, trees species, primates and animals. Day 6: Transfer to Kampala
After breakfast at the lodge, you will embark on a drive back to Kampala Uganda’s capital and its largest city, with lunch en route and also visit to Nakayima tree in Mubende, a historical tree, enjoy photography on the way. You will arrive in Kampala in the evening, for relaxation, dinner and overnight at Serena Hotel (Luxury), Cassia Lodge (mid-range), Landmark view Hotel (Budget).
Day 7: Departure
After a hearty breakfast, you will embark on the transfer to the airport to meet your departure flight back home, however if your flight is in the evening, you will first enjoy a city tour and visit some of the interesting places around the city. Places to visit include the Kasubi tombs, Bahai tombs, Namugongo shrine, Gadafhi Mosque among many others.
