Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
Upon your arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will be met and greeted by our safari tour guide/driver; he will get you briefed about the safari and later drive you to your booked accommodation in Kampala. However, if you arrive in time, you will have a brief Kampala city tour and visit some of the interesting places around. Places to visit include Uganda museum, the Bahai temple, Kasubi Toms, Nakasero market and if time allows, enjoy a cultural presentation and later have dinner and overnight at (Luxury) Serena Hotel, (mid-range) Cassia Lodge, Landmark view Hotel (Budget).

Day 2: Depart to Queen Elizabeth National park
After a morning breakfast at the lodge, you will be driven to Queen Elizabeth National park in the south western park Uganda with a scenic drive all through. You will have a stopover at equator crossing for photography and informative talks and also at Mbarara for an hour lunch break. After, continue with the drive to the park arriving in the afternoon for relaxation at your lodge or alongside the pool. Then in the evening, you will enjoy a game drive along the Kasenyi area of the park for an opportunity to spot various species of animals including Elephants, buffalos, Bush bucks, water buck, and lion among others plus many various species of birds. Day 3: Game drive and launch cruise
After breakfast at the lodge, the guide will drive you to Kasenyi area of the park for a chance to have a glance to very many animal species that reside at the park. Games expected to see include the Buffalo, Elephant, Warthog and Lion, leopard, worth hogs, water buck, Uganda kobs among many others. After this activity, retire back to the lodge for refreshment and lunch at the lodge and then after lunch, enjoy a 2 hours launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel which connects lakes George and Edward. The launch cruise offers an opportunity to view more species of animals including Hippos, crocodiles while elephants and buffaloes can be seen linger along the shoreline plus very many species of bird including the king fisher, lucky visitors can also came across the rare shoebill. Day 4: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
After a morning breakfast at the lodge, you will set off to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park a home to the endangered mountain gorillas via the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park commonly known for its rare tree climbing lions. Enjoy a game drive in search of the tree climbing lions sited on tree blanches, have lunch at the Ishasha River camp and later proceed with your journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park reaching in the evening at the lodge for relaxation dinner and an overnight at (Luxury) Buhoma Lodge/Gorilla Resort Camp, (Midrange) Mahogany Lodge/ Kitandara Tented Camp (Budget) Buhoma Community Campground or Wagtail

Day 5: Gorilla tracking and transfer to Volcanoes NP
Wake up early for a morning breakfast to give you energy for gorilla tracking, after with packed lunch and battled water, you will be driven to the park headquarters to receive short briefings about the dos and don’ts while with gorillas and also get you assigned to the gorilla family to trek and also the ranger guide. After, enter the forest to begin the search of mountain gorillas, tracking time is unpredictable, however, it can last from 2-8 hours since meeting them depends on where they last spent their night from and once they are met, you strictly allowed only one hour with them while studding as well as taking photography. Day 6: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
An early morning breakfast at the lodge is followed with a transfer to Lake Bunyonyi the second deepest lake in Africa, you will pass via Kabale a place which is commonly known as the ‘’Switzerland of Africa’’. at the lake, you will Enjoy the boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi to the most Islands on the Lake and you will enjoy very many species of bird, each island has different bird species, you will meet fisher men and interact with them. Dinner and overnight at Bushara Island Camp/Arcadia cottages.

Day 7: Proceed to Rwanda
This morning after a hearty breakfast, embark on the transfer to Rwanda via the Uganda -Rwanda- Katuna Border and later connect to Ruhengeri in Musanze district with a scenic view all through. Have lunch en route and later connect to your Lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge (Luxury)/La Palme Hotel (Deluxe)/Muhabura Hotel (Budget).

Day8: Gorilla trekking in volcanoes national park
After breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters to receive short briefing from the park wardens about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas as well as get you assigned to the ranger guide and the gorilla family. After, head to the forest to begin the search of mountain gorillas. it’s a breathtaking moment to be among the 8 members allowed per group to trek the gorillas, sit among them listen to them grumble and marvel at the cheer full male silver buck, it’s a wonderful moment in life very difficult to forget. Return to the lodge for relaxation, and then in the evening, you will go for a cultural walk to Iby’wachu for cultural visit and learn more about the Banyarwanda culture/ visit the twin lakes of Ruhondo and Bulera. Day 9: Trek golden monkey and then transfer to Kigali, and departure
In the morning after breakfast, drive again to the ORTPN Offices for another briefing from the rangers as you prepares you for Golden monkey trekking. Like mountain gorillas, golden monkeys are regarded as endangered species and they are fabulous fun to watch, they like jumping from one tree to another so a first camera is needed. After trekking, on return transfer back to Kigali, if you still have time visit the Kigali genocide memorial site and lunch in Kigali and then after, transfer to the airport to check in for your departure flight if it is scheduled on this day.
